About Nikki Dee

Hello, I’m Nikki, the girl behind the 101 in 1001 days project blog Nikki Dee 101. This blog was born out of boredom. With 101 goals to complete, how can I ever have an excuse to be bored again?

My goals reflect my interests. I am an aspiring nurse (graduating in December), and I plan to go on to graduate school in order to fulfill my ultimate career goal of being a Family Nurse Practitioner. My second big goal is to buy my first home next year.

I’m on a mission to live life to the fullest and to become a better person. I want to stop complaining, experience new things, continue to work on arts and crafts, and learn along the way. See all my goals here. Learn more and join me.

I love my Kindle, I drink way too much Diet Dr. Pepper, and I’m a Pinterest-oholic. I have an inability to sit still, but I also love naps. I play the guitar, get my Zumba on, and take my poodle (A.J) for walks.

I have the most wonderful family anyone can ask for (nicknames for privacy):
Dad & Donnie: My lovely parents. I’m sure you can figure out who ‘Dad’ is, but Donnie is a nickname I’ve given my mother.

H.D: My beautiful older sister.

B: My eldest niece, 6 years old.

A.: My youngest niece, 3 years old

Old Pop: My crazy grandfather.

Tree: The handsome fella’ to the right is my boyfriend of four years. B. decided to name the Christmas tree after him (who knows why), and my family has called him Tree ever since.

I also have a few goals pertaining to my ‘Nanny’. She was my maternal grandmother who passed away in December of 2010. She was a beautiful woman who would do anything for anyone and who cooked like a pro. I hope to learn to cook some of her recipes and continue a Halloween tradition with B. and A.
